RURAL/METRO FIRE DEPARTMENT & SOUTHWEST AMBULANCE EMPLOYEES HONORED AS LIFESAVERS
SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. (November 7, 2012) – Employees from Rural/Metro Fire Department and Southwest Ambulance were honored this week for their life-saving team efforts in Pinal County, Arizona. Six firefighters and four EMS professionals were singled out for their outstanding commitment, along with deputies from the Pinal County Sheriff’s Office and flight crews from air medical transport provider Air Evac.

JEFF BAKER PROMOTED TO DIVISION GENERAL MANAGER FOR PMT AMBULANCE

(October 9, 2012) – Rural/Metro’s Southwest Zone announces the promotion of longtime EMS operational leader Jeff Baker to the position of Division General Manager for PMT Ambulance . Mr. Baker will oversee the day-to-day operational leadership of PMT, reporting directly to PMT Chief Operating Officer John Wilson.

TED BEAM NAMED SOUTHWEST ZONE FIRE ADVISOR
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (October 9, 2012) – Rural/Metro is pleased to announce that Ted Beam, former Director of Operations for PMT Ambulance in Central Arizona, has been named to a new, strategic role as Southwest Zone Fire Advisor. Mr. Beam will be engaged in the planning, development and implementation of Rural/Metro Fire Department’s business goals and objectives throughout the state of Arizona, reporting directly to Southwest Zone Vice President John Karolzak.
